Similarly, a closed recommendation is one that a user has “bought” and has also previously “sold.”

If you want to update your thoughts and do not want to change the recommendation category, (i.e. change from Value to Short), then on your Scorecard in the section where your open recommendations are listed, there is an option called “Update” which allows you to modify your thoughts about your company. After you click on “Update,” simply follow the instructions on the page to complete our update form. If you feel your company is now fully valued and there is little upside, then you should close your recommendation to lock in the return.
How do I close a recommendation?
It’s easy. On your Scorecard in the section where your open recommendations are listed, there is an option called “Close” that will close your recommendation.
Can I have more than one recommendation within Upickstocks.com for a particular company?
It depends. Upickstocks.com does not allow users to have more than one open recommendation in our database for a particular company. This prevents any one individual from over-promoting any one company, and it also leads to Scorecards that more accurately reflect true performance and capability. However, users can submit a new recommendation for the same company that they’ve previously written and closed recommendations for.
How do I add users to My Watch List if I don’t know anyone in the community?
The best way to add users to your Watch List is through your recommendation searches. As you search, you’ll find intriguing thoughts and compelling Scorecards from people you want to track. When you find someone you want to add to your Watch List, click on the link on their Scorecard that says “Add to My Watch List.” That user will then appear on your Watch List.
